Waldenway Canine and Kitty Camp rests on 5 acres of breath-taking greenspace. We are proud to have 10 beautifully maintained park-like yards lush with green grass and trees for your pooch to sniff and explore. And winter is just as exciting as summer with ample room to roll and play in fresh snowflakes.

 

At Waldenway Canine and Kitty Camp we understand that exercise is an essential part of every doggy’s day and that’s why we make sure that your dog gets 20 minutes of exercise in our yards 4 times a day – and all the fresh country air that comes with it.

At Waldenway we know how important it is to stay hydrated, that’s why everydoggys water pail, and everykittys water dish is cleaned and refilled with fresh cold water four times a day, so they can get back to their day, hydrated and ready to go.

 

Ding!! Order up!!! (The one thing about this camp—our food is GOOD) Whether it’s to start the day off right or after a long day of playing hard and sniffing around, there is nothing better than a good hearty meal. Here at Waldenway we want your pet to enjoy their stay in every respect, that’s why we recommend you send along your pets food from home, we have all amenities to help serve up a feast, from a fridge and freezer to a microwave. So whether your pal is on a raw meat diet or your have individual containers of hamburger and rice or your kitty has some tuna to be kept cool -- we can store it and serve it for you!! Send along your dry kibble in the original bag or in a container, no matter the size or shape we will make sure that everydoggy and everykitty get exactly what they are used to as many times a day as they are used to it at home.

 

At Waldenway Canine and Kitty Camp we are proud to cater to every breed of dog and cat, any shape and any size...and any request. If your special friend is on medication (short term or long term) we will be more than willing to administer medication during their stay -- from one heartworm pill on a specific day to twice-daily

 

 

Inside, in our recently renovated kennels, every dog has their own personal quarters complete with fresh, clean blankets and privacy to relax. Overhead soothing background music plays and at night soft nightlights glow through the halls. Every dog's quarters has a dog-door to a personal outdoor run, so your pet decides when it’s “time to go” or when they just want to go see what’s shaking outside.

Every cat loves to play and cuddle, and here at Waldenway Canine and Kitty Camp we love cuddling cats too!!
Our kitty kennels are bright and fun. Each kennel is floor-to-ceiling, and are complete with kitty-climber-trees and shelves to lounge around on.

 

 

insulin injections. If your pal is getting older and wiser and is not so much into “kicking his heels up” anymore, we can arrange for a quieter quarters. Or if it’s just that YOU would sleep better knowing that your pet gets that extra bedtime scratch behind the ear, then consider it done! Your request is our pleasure.

 

And what would camp be without swimming?
For a good game of fetch, or a walk along the shore, the refreshing cool water of the “Golden Pond” is a greatway for anydoggy to enjoy the sun and fresh air**. Remember, the swimming is seasonal but the playtimes are available all year long, rain or shine.

Did you know we have a grooming shop right here at camp?
Well we do!! Pamper your pal by booking them in for a well deserved bath and grooming before they check-out from camp, or call and book your weekday appointment*. Your pet will thank you!!

Don’t feel like making the drive out to camp? Already got the car loaded? No problem!! Let the Waldenway Shuttle Van pick up and/or return your pet so you don’t have to worry*. (Monday – Saturday, 8am – 10am)

Now we need to ask a favour from you – for the safety of every dog and every cat here at
Waldenway Canine and Kitty Camp – we ask that:

 

ALL PETS be vaccinated prior to boarding at Waldenway:

FOR DOGS:

 

Distemper / Parvovirus combo vaccination (bi-annual vaccine is acceptable)
Current Rabies Vaccination (2 or 3 yr vaccines are acceptable)
Bordetella vaccination against kennel cough (strongly recommended)

 

Please double-check your vaccinations records for the safety of all.



FOR CATS:

 

FVRCPC vaccinations.
Outdoor cats must be vaccinated for rabies. -We recommend discussing immunizing against feline leukemia with your veterinarian.

    Waldenway Canine and Kitty Camp has several key features that makes your pet's stay the best holiday they've ever had!  Including 3 acres of beautiful green space, recently renovated kennel facilities for comfort and relaxation time, swimming in our own lake and great food.

    Waldenway Canine & Kitty Camp is so pleased to have had another fantastic year.  We'd like to thank our devoted staff for being so caring and reliable with our customer's dear fur-children.  Having a great team makes this zany job a bit easier at times, and it's great peace-of-mind to know that our team cares so much about our guests.

    We'd also like to thank our awesome customers for another great year of memories with your pets, as we truly love and enjoy them as if they were our own.  We've come to know many of you so well over the years and it's just so great that we get to continue this awesome relationship.  

    The range of breeds, ages, sizes and personalities of our guests always keeps us so entertained and reminds us daily why we do what we do.  Pets are special creatures and enrich the lives of everyone they get to meet.  We continue to love and learn from your pets as each year passes.

    We look forward to another awesome year of wagging tails, the sound of purring, and lots of fun amidst the everyday flurry of activity here at Waldenway Canine & Kitty Camp.
