At Waldenway Canine and Kitty Camp it is our mission to provide your pet with a safe and comforting alternative to home while offering you peace of mind while you’re away. From our dedicated staff and breath taking grounds, to our incredible services and newly renovated facility, we will ensure our mission is achieved everyday, pet by pet. We are more than cat & dog kennels, we are a home away from home for you pet. Our staff are expertly trained and true animal lovers. From our groomers, walkers and handlers we are all committed to ensuring your pet’s stay is positive, fun and stress-free every time.
Waldenway Canine and Kitty Camp has several key features that makes your pet’s stay the best holiday they’ve ever had! Including 3 acres of beautiful green space, recently renovated cat and dog kennels facilities for comfort and relaxation time, swimming in our own lake and great food. We also cater to every breed of dog or cat, as well as offer you comfort in knowing that we customize care for special needs pets. Of course, your pet can also visit the Canine Barber Shop to feel extra special during their stay. The barber shop can also be enjoyed by non-campers, so make your appointment today!
Our Kennel Facility
Each camper and/or family is equipped with their own private bunkhouse, including easy access doggy doors to our outdoor doggy runs. Each of the dog kennels is outfitted with a raised hammock type cot, which is comfortable, breathable and durable, as well as a mat in front of the doggy door. The exterior runs are covered over with a clear corrugated material which allows the sunlight to pass through but prevents the rain from getting our campers wet.
Our entire kennel facility is air-conditioned / heated to ensure that we keep our campers cool in the summer and warm in the winter. The in-floor heat is used during the winter to keep the floors comfortable and cozy for all the dogs. Our Guardian Air Purification in-Duct Unit, in conjunction with our Heat Recovery Ventilation System, helps keep our air neutralized. Every three hours, all of the air inside our facility is shipped out and replaced with fresh country air. This keeps the air inside our buildings fresh & clean and reduces the risk of airborne viruses.
Our medical cabinet and First Aid Kit is constantly stocked and monitored for the minor situations that arise. For our medicated campers, we provide pill cases to ensure medication is administered on the correct day.
